Your information

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we use it and the choices available to Academy learners and visitors.

Last updated: 29 August 2026

Information we collect

We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, country, account credentials, enrolment history, progress, assessment responses, submitted work, certificate records and support communications. We also receive limited technical information such as browser, device, session and referral details needed to operate and protect the service.

How we use it

  • create and secure learner accounts;
  • process enrolments and provide course access;
  • record progress, assess work and issue verifiable certificates;
  • process payments, discounts, referrals and legitimate reporting;
  • respond to support requests and improve Academy services;
  • meet legal, security, accounting and fraud-prevention obligations.

Website analytics

We use privacy-conscious website analytics to understand page visits, course interest, general country, device category and referral sources. Visitors are counted using an anonymous identifier. We do not store visitors’ names, email addresses or IP addresses in the analytics record.

Payments and service providers

Paystack processes paid transactions. The Academy does not need to store your full payment-card details. We may share only the information reasonably required with hosting, communications, analytics, payment and professional-service providers acting for the Academy, or where disclosure is required by law.

Cookies and local settings

The Academy may use essential cookies or similar storage to keep you signed in, preserve preferences, support security and understand whether the service is working. Browser controls can limit some storage, although essential account functions may then be affected.

Referral attribution

If you arrive through an affiliate or partner link, we may retain referral attribution to understand where learners came from and apply valid programme rules. A genuinely free enrolment does not create a sales commission unless a separate referral reward has been configured.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide learning records, certificate verification, financial records, dispute handling and legal compliance. We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards, but no online system can promise absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable Ghanaian data-protection law, including the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you may ask to access or correct your information, or raise a concern about its use. Some records may need to be retained for legal, financial, assessment or certificate-integrity purposes.

Children and policy updates

The Academy is designed for professional and adult learning. A person who cannot legally consent should use it only with appropriate parent or guardian involvement. Material policy changes will be reflected here with a revised update date.
